About Us
The Parkland Art League is a group of over 80 artists whose objectives are: to encourage friendship among persons interested in art, to awaken and sustain their interest in art and to exhibit the art of our members. In addition we offer the public the opportunity to purchase original art. Members are provided opportunities to advance their skills by offering a lending library of instructional DVDs, having exceptional artist demonstrators at monthly meetings and hosting workshops taught by artists who excel in their craft.

LAA Summer Show at Luckenbach Mill in Bethlehem features work by members Jeanne Stock and Marianne Knipe. Show runs through August 17.
Jeanne Stock won Honorable Mention at the July Tinicum Art Festival in Bucks county.

October 8th Monthly Meeting presenter will be Kristin Dobrowolski

Kristin will be doing a presentation on Rosemaling, a Norwegian art form. Traditionally done in oil, she will demonstrate in acrylic.
​
Kristin and her husband have lived in Eastside Allentown for 13 years and have 2 teenage children. They work with vulnerable populations and are church planters in Eastside. She has also worked beside Wendy Stoudt for 4 years at gallery840 in downtown Allentown running community workshops and art shows, and she stands on the shoulders of her Norwegian grandmother who spent every summer painting rosemaling with her. This grandmother is the reason for her love of heritage and why she continues to study Norwegian folk art.
