ALL MEMBER NON-JURIED SMALL WORKS SHOW

Exhibition Details and Guidelines

 

THEME: SMALL WORKS ( Art 11” x 14” or smaller)

Eligibility:

Open to all members of the Parkland Art League.

Current year’s dues must be paid.

All mediums accepted.

Paintings must be properly framed. Canvas can be unframed if on prepared wrap-around edges. All works should have sawtooth or wire hanging hardware ( this show only allows sawtooth hanger).

Current years dues must be paid in order to exhibit.  Dues may be paid by check at drop off or online at https://www.parklandartleague.com/join-parkland-art-league-1. 

The Art Display location, as well as Parkland Art League, are not responsible for loss, theft or damage to any artwork submitted for exhibit. PAL does have limited coverage for member artwork with a $500 deductible policy.  The Artist assumes all risk for their work up to this level of coverage during this event.

PAL reserves the right to turn away work misrepresented or unsuitably presented.  If you have questions about eligible works, call prior to delivery: Deb Haaf (610) 533-5345.

 

Entry Requirements:

All artwork, including frames,  cannot exceed 17” in any direction. Work must be framed in a professional manner with secure brackets and taut wire, sawtooth hangers are acceptable for this show. No clip frames. PaL reserves the right to turn away work that is misrepresented or unsuitably presented. Poor fitting hardware may result in painting being rejected.

Maximum Price for artwork must not exceed $250.

Fees: No entry fee for paintings, however a 20% commission will be taken on sales, 5% to Stony Run Winery and 15% to PAL to offset insurance cost.

 

Entries: Artists may submit two painting images. If your work is sold before the show ends you may submit another piece of similar dimensions to replace the sold piece. Notify haaf@ptd.net with new work image and information.  

 

Registration: Fill out and attach show hang tags (downloadable from website here: https://www.parklandartleague.com/show-entry-form-tags ).  Participants are required to submit images,  art dimensions, medium, price, title and artist contact information to haaf@ptd.net by November 17th, 2022.  If all 80+ members participate fewer than two may be accepted initially.  You will be notified by email prior to 12/1/22 about which paintings are accepted. Additional paintings may be needed due to anticipated holiday sales.


 

Receiving: Friday December 2, 2022  2-4 PM  

 

Pick up of work: Thursday February 2,2023 2-4 pm

 

Opening Reception: DECEMBER 8, 2022. Time:  4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

 

Closing Reception: January 19, 2023 Time: 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Exhibition Details and Guidelines

 

Eligibility:  All artwork must be original. No copies from other works, or anyone else’s photos.  if you are painting from a photo, the photo must have been taken by yourself personally.Artwork must not have been done in a workshop or in class with help from an instructor.

Paintings must be properly framed. Canvas can be unframed if on prepared wrap-around edges. All works should have screw eyes and wire.

Current years dues must be paid in order to exhibit.  Dues may be paid by check at drop off or online at www.parklandartleague.com.

Fees: $10 entry fee for each painting. Make Check payable to PAL.  40% commission will be taken on sales and paid to the gallery. 

 

Entries: Artists may submit two painting images, number of paintings accepted depend on the number of entries. 

 

Registration: Email images of art and include dimensions, medium, price and artist to Haaf@ptd.net by November 17, 2022. Fill out and attach show hang tags (Download and print from website at this link: https://www.parklandartleague.com/show-entry-form-tags

Receiving: Saturday December 3, 2022 10:00am - 12:00pm 

Pick up work at end of show: Saturday January 28, 2023, 10:00 am-12:00 pm

 

Reception: Friday December 16, 2022. Time: 5:00 pm -7:00 pm

The Artist may exchange artwork if it is unable to remain for the duration of the show with mutual arrangement with Laura Barton, Gallery owner.
