PROSPECTUS

 

ALL MEMBER JURIED  SHOW 

DATES: July 1, 2024 - August 25, 2024

Stony Run Winery, 150 Independent Rd., Breinigsville, PA 18031

Winery Hours of Operation: Sunday 11 am - 6 pm;  Monday 2 pm - 6 pm;

 Tuesday - Closed Wednesday And Thursday 2 pm - 7 pm; Friday and Saturday 12 pm - 8 pm.

Exhibition Details and Guidelines

Art and frame or gallery wrapped canvas not to exceed 36 inches.

Eligibility:

Open to all members of the Parkland Art League.

Current year’s dues must be paid.

All mediums accepted.

Paintings must be properly framed. Canvas can be unframed if on prepared wrap-around edges. All works should have wire hanging hardware .

 Dues may be paid by check at drop off or online at https://www.parklandartleague.com/join-parkland-art-league-1. 

The Art Display location, as well as Parkland Art League, are not responsible for loss, theft or damage to any artwork submitted for exhibit. PAL does have limited coverage for member artwork with a $500 deductible policy.  The Artist assumes all risk for their work up to this level of coverage during this event.

Entry Requirements:

All artwork, including frames,  cannot exceed 36 in length and width. Work must be framed in a professional manner with secure brackets and taut wire. No clip frames. PAL reserves the right to turn away work that is misrepresented or unsuitably presented. Poor fitting hardware may result in painting being rejected.    If you have questions about eligible works, call prior to delivery: Deb Haaf (610) 533-5345.

Maximum Price for artwork must not exceed $1000.

Fees: Entry fee $10 per painting . A 20% commission will be taken on sales, 5% to Stony Run Winery and 15% to PAL to offset show related costs.

 

Entries: Artists may submit two painting images. If your work is sold before the show ends you may submit another piece of similar dimensions to replace the sold piece. Notify Maudknipe@msn.com with new work image and information.  

 

Registration: Fill out and attach price tags (downloadable from website here: ( Show price tags).  Participants are required to submit image of art, and image of price card to Emory Smith at emorysmith52@gmail.com so information can be loaded on website.  Additional paintings from you may be needed due to anticipated sales.

Juror: TBA - Work will be juried for prizes only. Prizes are: Best In Show $125, First Place $100,

Second Place  $75, Third Place $50 and (2) Honorable Mention Awards. 


 

Receiving: Monday July 1st,  2024 from 2 pm- 4 pm

Pick up of work: Monday August 26th 2024 from 2 pm-4 pm

 

Opening Reception: July 10th . Time:  5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

​

Closing Reception: August 21st . Time:  5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
