Marianne Knipe, PAL Vice President

Our condolences go out to the family and friends of Marianne Knipe who was the Parkland Art League’s Vice President since 2018. Marianne has had a lifetime of experience in the arts. Both she and her sisters Ronnie and Barbara were artists. Her careers included work as a designer of wallpaper as well as an art teacher.  She was a signature member of the American Artists Professional League in NYC, a Distinguished Pastelist in the Pastel Society of New Jersey, a member of the Pastel Society of America and the Philadelphia Pastel Society. She has taught pastel classes at the Banana Factory in Bethlehem as well as classes in France and Haiti. She did many artist residencies in Europe and in the Caribbean. Her work has won numerous awards and is in collections throughout the US and abroad. Her family is hosting a celebration of life in May.
